Our Wedding

What&nbsp;started&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;BBQ-inspired&nbsp;road&nbsp;trip&nbsp;turned&nbsp;into&nbsp;the&nbsp;adventure&nbsp;of&nbsp;a&nbsp;lifetime.&nbsp;DeAndra&nbsp;and&nbsp;Scott&nbsp;drove&nbsp;through&nbsp;Atlanta,&nbsp;Chattanooga,&nbsp;Memphis,&nbsp;Kansas&nbsp;City,&nbsp;and&nbsp;St.&nbsp;Louis,&nbsp;ending&nbsp;in&nbsp;their&nbsp;favorite&nbsp;city,&nbsp;Chicago&nbsp;for&nbsp;Beyoncé’s&nbsp;Cowboy&nbsp;Carter&nbsp;tour.&nbsp;On&nbsp;their&nbsp;second&nbsp;day&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;city,&nbsp;Scott&nbsp;had&nbsp;something&nbsp;extra&nbsp;special&nbsp;planned:&nbsp;a&nbsp;surprise&nbsp;photoshoot.&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;chilly,&nbsp;and&nbsp;DeAndra&nbsp;almost&nbsp;wore&nbsp;her&nbsp;tennis&nbsp;shoes,&nbsp;but&nbsp;Scott&nbsp;convinced&nbsp;her&nbsp;to&nbsp;dress&nbsp;up&nbsp;a&nbsp;little&nbsp;more.&nbsp; Then&nbsp;Scott&nbsp;was&nbsp;being&nbsp;weird&nbsp;and&nbsp;wouldn't&nbsp;let&nbsp;DeAndra&nbsp;get&nbsp;her&nbsp;lipgloss&nbsp;from&nbsp;her&nbsp;bag,&nbsp;Little&nbsp;did&nbsp;she&nbsp;know&nbsp;the&nbsp;ring&nbsp;was&nbsp;in&nbsp;there!&nbsp; With&nbsp;DeAndra&nbsp;oblivious,&nbsp;they&nbsp;strolled&nbsp;three&nbsp;blocks&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;photoshoot&nbsp;location,&nbsp;laughing&nbsp;and&nbsp;soaking&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;city’s&nbsp;skyline.&nbsp;After&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;photos,&nbsp;Scott&nbsp;said&nbsp;he&nbsp;needed&nbsp;to&nbsp;“set&nbsp;the&nbsp;ambiance.”&nbsp;Moments&nbsp;later,&nbsp;Beyoncé’s&nbsp;Crazy&nbsp;in&nbsp;Love&nbsp;began&nbsp;to&nbsp;play,&nbsp;really&nbsp;getting&nbsp;them&nbsp;pumped&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;photos&nbsp;and&nbsp;concert&nbsp;later&nbsp;that&nbsp;night.&nbsp;As&nbsp;the&nbsp;music&nbsp;played,&nbsp;Scott&nbsp;got&nbsp;down&nbsp;on&nbsp;one&nbsp;knee&nbsp;and&nbsp;asked&nbsp;DeAndra&nbsp;to&nbsp;marry&nbsp;him.&nbsp;Through&nbsp;tears,&nbsp;she&nbsp;said,&nbsp;Yes!&nbsp; Hand&nbsp;in&nbsp;hand,&nbsp;they&nbsp;walked&nbsp;to&nbsp;Soldier&nbsp;Field,&nbsp;hearts&nbsp;full,&nbsp;talking&nbsp;about&nbsp;their&nbsp;hopes,&nbsp;dreams,&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;future&nbsp;they&nbsp;were&nbsp;beginning&nbsp;together.&nbsp;The&nbsp;night&nbsp;ended&nbsp;in&nbsp;pure&nbsp;magic,&nbsp;dancing&nbsp;and&nbsp;singing&nbsp;along&nbsp;as&nbsp;Queen&nbsp;B&nbsp;herself&nbsp;performed,&nbsp;sealing&nbsp;their&nbsp;perfect&nbsp;day.
